Visit The Maritim Hotel Mauritius

The Maritim Hotel has a 500 meter long beach and is situated on a 25 hectare private estate known as Balaclava along Turtle Bay on the island’s west coast. It is approximately 45 minutes drive from the airport.

This beautiful hotel consists of 221 sea facing rooms that are located into two wings. The rooms are categorized into Comfort rooms, Deluxe rooms, Prestige rooms, Junior suites and Suites. All the rooms have a terrace or balcony and are equipped with air-conditioning, satellite TV, telephone, internet access, mini bar, in-room safe, tea and coffee making facilities and a hairdryer.

The Maritim hotel boasts 3 superb restaurants. The Belle Vue serves breakfasts, lunches and a combination of themed buffets or barbeques 5 nights a week and a table d’hote menu on the other 2 nights. The Mon Desir is a gourmet restaurant open only for dinner and the La Maree is the beach restaurant specialising in seafood and grills.

For refreshments you can visit The Quarter deck which is the main bar, the Pool Lounge overlooks the pool and also serves afternoon teas whilst the Beach Bar is situated on the seafront.

The Maritim offers a wide variety of water sports that includes complimentary activities like waterskiing, hobie cats, canoeing, glass bottom boat trips, snorkelling, pedal boats and floodlit tennis courts. You also get free green fees on the hotel’s 9 hole par 29 course, table tennis, water polo, archery and football. Deep sea diving, fishing, horse riding and parasailing are available at an extra charge.

For children aged 3 to 11 years there is the Turtle Club that caters for their wellbeing. Babysitting is available on request at a nominal hourly charge.
